Nitish Kumar oversees the big opposition meeting’s preparations

Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, is personally keeping an eye on the preparations for the 17 opposition parties’ mass assembly, which is set to take place in Patna on Friday.

Even the state government guest house and the Patna Circuit House, where the VVIPs would be staying, were inspected by him on Sunday.

The gathering will be held at Gandhi Maidan’s Gyan Bhawan.

The Bihar administration wants to ensure that this gigantic event is a huge success, hence he has instructed the appropriate authorities to make all the necessary preparations.

Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata Benerjee, M.K. Stalin, Hemant Soren, Akhilesh Yadav, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, Sitaram Yechuri, and D. Raja are among the political figures that will be there.

“All leaders have given their consent for the meeting hosted by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav,” said Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, the state’s finance minister. Lalu Prasad Yadav, the leader of the RJD, will also speak at the conference.

The bulk of the politicians returned the same day, but the Bihar government still wants to show its guests a good time.

The opposition leaders will talk about strategies for taking on the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections of 2024.

One opposition candidate would go off against one NDA candidate, as Nitish Kumar has previously said.

They will also talk about the seat-sharing system.

Currently, the states with a total of 147 Lok Sabha seats are Madhya Pradesh (29), Rajasthan (20), Chhattisgarh (11), Himachal Pradesh (4), Gujarat (26), Karnataka (28), Assam (14), Haryana (10), and Uttrakhand (5).

In contrast, the Trinamool Congress is opposed to the BJP in West Bengal (42). JMM against BJP in Jharkhand (14), Mahagathbandhan vs BJP in Bihar (40), In Maharashtra (48), MVA is up against the BJP-Shiv Sena Shinde combine, while SP is up against the BJP in Uttar Pradesh (80). BJP is up against AAP in Punjab (13). AAP vs. BJP in Delhi 7. The 244 seats in question pit the BJP against regional parties.

The BJP is absent from the picture in Tamil Nadu (39) and Kerala (20), where the Congress will compete with the left in Kerala and the DMK with AIADMK.

The Congress, BJP, and TRS may engage in a tripartite conflict in Telangana (17).

Chandrababu Naidu, the BJP, and the Congress will be YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy’s opponents in Andhra Pradesh (25). The Biju Janata Dal, headed by Naveen Patnaik, will compete against the Congress and BJP in Odisha (21).
