Nitish Kumar, who is out for a stroll, leaps onto the sidewalk to “save himself” as two motorcycles approach the convoy

Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, was compelled to use a sidewalk during his morning stroll along Anne Marg in Patna on Thursday when two bike-riding males approached his group. For violating the CM’s security, the males have been taken into custody.

The males were recklessly operating their bikes. In order to protect himself from injury, the CM had to leap onto the sidewalk. Around 6:45 a.m., as Kumar was out for a morning stroll close to Circular Road, the motorcyclists broke through his protection cover, a police officer said.

The event, he said, happened close to Circular Road, where numerous politicians, including former CM Rabri Devi, reside. The SSP for Patna and a few other senior officials had come. Following the incident, traffic on 7 Circular Road was only allowed to go one way.

The CM’s security detained the motorcyclists and is questioning them while also scanning the local area’s CCTV video. The motorbike the guys were riding had the registration number BR 01 DK 7148, according to an article in Dainik Jagran. It is listed on the registry under the name Himanshu Kumar.

This is not the first incident that Nitish Kumar’s security has been compromised. In his hometown of Bakhtiyarpur, he was assaulted by a “mentally unstable” individual the previous year.

CCTV footage captured the guy, who was in his late 20s or early 30s, hitting the chief minister as he was ready to pay homage to the monument of Shilbhadra Yaji, a former Rajya Sabha member and state liberation fighter.

The assailant hit Kumar as he bowed down to lay flowers at the life-size statue’s feet. The individual, who was wearing a T-shirt and pants, was promptly apprehended by the chief minister’s security team and turned over to the police.

The guy was named as 32-year-old Shankar Kumar Verma alias Chhotu, a resident of Abu Mohammadpur village in Bakthiyarpur township of Patna district, in a statement released by the district government.
