Axis Bank Notifies Magnus Credit Card Holders of Significant Changes; Details Here

Axis Bank has just disclosed significant modifications to its Magnus Credit Card, which will take effect on April 20. These include adjustments to reward accruals and the absence of annual fee waivers, among other things. Notably, Axis Bank offers a variety of travel and stay credit cards called Magnus Credit Cards, which include hotel discounts, concierge services, and more. Strong perks are also available with the premium card in a number of other areas.

Axis Bank Magnus Credit Card Changes:

1. The annual fee waiver for the premium credit card will not apply to purchases made for gasoline, jewelry, or insurance.

2. Basic or accelerated EDGE REWARD Points will not be awarded for expenses incurred for jewelry, insurance, or gasoline.

3. A few benefits, such as free meet and greet services at airports, buy-one-Get-One free movie/non-movie tickets on BookMyShow, and free concierge services that are available around the clock, will be eliminated.

4. In accordance with the most recent modifications, a 5:2 ratio of reward points may be transferred to specific hotel or airline loyalty programs. This implies that 20,000 partner miles may be obtained for 50,000 Axis EDGE Reward Points. Additionally, the EDGE Rewards catalogue allows users to exchange their accrued reward points for a selection of vouchers in various categories. At partner shops, customers may also choose to “Pay with Point.”

5. The domestic airport lounge access program has undergone certain changes. For example, lounge admission privileges will now be determined by the user’s MAGNUS Credit Card spending over the preceding three calendar months. Additionally, a minimum expenditure of Rs 50,000 made over the preceding three calendar months would be required in order to get entry to the free lounge starting on May 1, 2024. When it comes to new cards, the minimum spend requirements are suspended for the first month after issue and then for the following three months.

6. Both domestic and international program access to airport lounges has been modified.

Regardless of the quantity of guest visits utilized up to April 19, 2024, all Magnus customers will have access to the domestic lounge for four trips between April 20 and December 31, 2024.
