This year’s class of Young Global Leaders for 2024 has been revealed by the World Economic Forum, and it includes over ninety people who are “shaping the future and accelerating positive change through their groundbreaking work.”.

Emerging leaders from a variety of sectors, including politics, industry, civil society, the arts, and academics, comprise this varied group. They are all motivated by the same goal: significantly impacting their communities and beyond.
Young Global Leaders community members have been instrumental in influencing global policy and promoting good change.

Among them are well-known individuals, including Olympic athlete Lewis Pugh, peace campaigner Victor Ochen, Netflix Executive Producer Peace Hyde, former Vogue China Editor-in-Chief Margaret Zhang, disability activist Sinéad Burke, and singer-songwriter Will.i.am.
Among the notable Indians on the list are: Shashwat Goenka, Vice Chairman, RP Sanjiv Goenka Group; Arjun Bhartia, Director, Jubilant Group; Richa Bajpai, Founder and CEO, Campus Fund; Priya Agarwal Hebbar, Non-Executive Director, Vedanta Limited; Bhumi Pednekar, Actress; and Adwaita Nayar, Chief Executive Officer, FSN E-Commerce Ventures Pvt. Ltd (NYKAA).
The Forum of Young Global Leaders has dedicated the last two decades to cultivating a network of leaders who will take on the world’s most pressing issues. Members want to lead significant projects in the areas of sustainability, technology, public health, and economic development via teamwork, demonstrating the transformative potential of group action.
As the Forum of Young Global Leaders celebrates its 20th anniversary and welcomes the newest cohort of Young Global Leaders, Ida Jeng Christensen, Head of the Organisation, expressed delight. These people are acknowledged for their capacity for innovation and leadership, providing novel viewpoints to tackle worldwide issues.
As it marks its 20th anniversary, the Forum of Young Global Leaders is committed to developing the next wave of leaders who are committed to bringing about constructive change. By bringing together leaders from all around the globe to solve urgent concerns, the YGL Community has throughout the years launched significant programmes, including Global Dignity, Table for Two, and the Clean Air Fund.
As part of a three-year programme for leadership development, members of the Class of 2024 will have access to executive education courses and work together with peers to increase their influence.
