Ford Mustang Mach-E is outperformed by the Kia EV6 GT in a German test

According to a renowned German automotive magazine, Auto Motor Und Sport, Kia’s EV6 GT won this year’s assessment of electric vehicle models, defeating Ford Motor Company’s Mustang Mach-E SUV, the Hyundai Motor Group said on Sunday.

According to a statement from the organization, the Ford Mustang Mach-E came in third and the GV60 SUV from Hyundai Motor’s independent Genesis brand placed second in the competitive EV examination.

Along with Auto Bild and Auto Zeitung, Auto Motor Und Sport is one of the top three German automobile publications, according to the Yonhap news agency.

The GV60 was honored in the interior space and engine area, while the EV6 GT scored better marks in handling, driving performance, rapid charging time, affordable costs, and competitive warranty programs, it claimed.The EV6 GT, Kia’s most powerful production vehicle to date, with a 0-100 kph time of 3.5 seconds, a range of more than 420 kilometers, and a self-charging time of 18 minutes.

The two models are constructed on the E-GMP EV platform specifically designed by Hyundai Motor Group.

The 77.4 kWh long-range battery pack with 800V fast-charging capability is the most recent iteration and is used by the Kia EV6 GT.

A sporty crossover with a stunning appearance is the EV6 GT. The front bonnet’s special GT grill and bumper, the body’s powerful contours, the new LED headlights, and the rear light clusters are just a few of the elements.

The specifically made gloss-neon brake callipers behind the bespoke 5-spoke alloy wheels are among the athletic finishing touches.
