Launch of the Nikon Z f Mirrorless Camera in India: Cost, Availability, and Specifications

The Nikon Z f, the company’s flagship mirrorless camera, has been introduced in India by the Japanese imaging giant Nikon. A full-frame sensor, the EXPEED 7 image-processing engine, a 24.5-megapixel CMOS sensor, and other features are included in this new hybrid camera from Nikon.

The Nikon Z f camera body is now on sale at Nikon stores all across India for Rs 1,76,995. The business claims that the Nikon Z f will have features including improved video performance that will enable the creation of films and still images that are more genuine.

Users may shoot with the least amount of equipment and without the need for an external recorder thanks to H.265/H.264 10-bit in-camera recording and N-Log/HLG recording capabilities.

The Z f offers ample time for full-scale video recording with up to 125 minutes of 4K UHD/60p recording. It also permits the production of high-resolution movies by supporting the recording of 4K UHD video utilizing 6K oversampling.

Nikon’s most recent camera contains an EXPEED 7 image processor. This broadens the scope of capturing low-light scenarios, such as nighttime landscapes and inside portraits, since noise is reduced even when ISO sensitivity is raised. Users may capture low-light settings wonderfully as a result.

Additionally, Nikon claims that the Z f has outstanding AF and VR capabilities. The camera’s slim housing and flip-out LCD panel, which can be adjusted to different angles, are meant to combine utility with aesthetics.

The new camera is equipped with the powerful EXPEED 7 image processor, which Sajjan Kumar, Managing Director of Nikon India, claims offers capabilities including in-camera 10-bit N-log video.

Additionally, AI-driven features like Portrait Impression Balance, Skin Softening, and Advance Auto were created with the demands of wedding and fashion-focused photographers and filmmakers in mind.

“We are thrilled with the launch of the Nikon Z f, our latest addition to the full-frame Z family that offers versatile and innovative hybrid features,” stated Nikon India MD.
