Would You Like To Send Instagram DMs That Disappear? Make Use of The Vanish Mode

Instagram keeps adding features to improve the experience of its users on the site. The Meta-owned platform has added a number of new features recently that have only improved user experience by improving content, communication, and privacy.

Instagram offers something for everyone, regardless of your role on social media—from casual user to company owner to social media influencer. ‘Vanish Mode’ is one such tool that lets users send each other ‘disappearing’ messages, images, videos, and other information via Instagram conversations, also known as direct messaging.

When the Vanish Mode is enabled, shared content in chats immediately vanishes when a user examines it or exits the conversation. To utilize the disappear mode, users must upgrade Instagram Messenger features.

DIRECTIONS FOR STARTING VANISH MODE ON INSTAGRAM
1. Open Instagram on your tablet or smartphone.

2. Press the messaging symbol located in the upper right corner of the screen.

3. Click the ‘+’ symbol to start a new conversation or open an existing one.

4. Hold the screen down and swipe, then release it after a little while.

5. A confirmation that the disappear mood has been activated will show on the screen.

6. To further show that Vanish Mode has been engaged, the chat’s backdrop will also change.

7. After being enabled, transmitted messages vanish as soon as the receiver sees them. In addition to standard text messages, you may send vanishing answers to articles in the vanish mode, as well as images and videos.

Note: Vanish Mode does not prevent the taking of screenshots or recording of the screen. If a screenshot or screen recording is being made, the receiver will be informed. Moreover, users won’t be able to copy, save, or forward communications that vanish.

DIRECTIONS FOR DISabling Instagram’s Vanish Mode:

1. Open the conversation window where Vanish Mode is activated by following the same procedures.

2. Make another downward swipe, this time holding it.

3. ‘Release to turn off Vanish Mode’ will be shown as the third message.

4. After that, the Vanish Mode will be turned off.

Instagram’s Vanish Mode, which debuted in 2020, is akin to Snapchat’s self-erasing function, but it can only be used manually. Furthermore, group conversations are not supported by this function; only individual chats are.
