A preview for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes depicts the new ape leader seizing power

Watch the amazing new trailer for the much awaited action-adventure movie Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which stars Travis Jeffery, William H. Macy, Dichen Lachman, Kevin Durand, Owen Teague, Peter Macon, and Freya Allan among its all-star ensemble. Under the direction of Wes Ball, this picture revitalizes the beloved series by setting it in a future in which apes rule supreme and live in peace with humans lurking in the shadows. As the ape kingdom grows under the rule of a new despotic monarch, a young ape sets out on a quest that tests his beliefs and changes the course of both ape and human history.

The latest teaser claims that a beautiful forest-like planet has been reclaimed by nature, and a new colony of primates has grown there. Owen Teague plays Noa in the film, a juvenile chimpanzee who becomes friends with Mae, a savage human.

Although there is a lot of excitement about the movie, actor Owen Teague recently said that he studied animal behavior in order to play a chimpanzee very accurately. In the new Wes Ball movie, the actor will play Noa, an intellectual chimpanzee with a kind disposition. Teague told Variety that in order to improve his portrayal on screen, he studied monkey behavior attentively for six weeks at a Florida ape sanctuary before the movie’s premiere.

Owen Teague said in a Variety interview that while he had a strong relationship with chimpanzees, he avoided orangutans. “Dude, they smell so bad,” he continued. Teague went on to say that, under the direction of a movement teacher, he went to great lengths to adopt the traits required for his position.

The other ape characters include Peter Macon as Raka, an old orangutan, Travis Jeffery and Lydia Peckham as Noa’s chimpanzee companions Anaya and Soona, and Neil Sandilands as Koro, an elderly chimp from Noa’s group. Proximus Caesar, a powerful chimpanzee who leads a coastal tribe of monkeys in search of human technology, is portrayed by Kevin Durand.

Produced by Joe Hartwick, Jr., Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Jason Reed, and executive produced by Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping, the film is expected to be a visual extravaganza that features cutting-edge special effects and breathtaking graphics that vividly depict this extraordinary planet.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which is expected to be the longest film in the series with a duration of 145 minutes, promises an epic cinematic experience unlike anything seen before. When this exciting journey opens in cinemas on May 10, don’t miss it.
