Shah Rukh Khan is excited for Rinku Singh of KKR to join the T20 World Cup team

The owner of KKR, Shah Rukh Khan, expressed his desire for Rinku Singh to be included in the Indian T20 World Cup team and expressed his happiness should it materialize. Rinku was a standout player for KKR in the previous season and will be a key member of the team in the 2024 IPL. After a stellar start to his international career, the UP batter has been in the running to reach India’s T20 World Cup roster.

On Tuesday, everyone will be watching the KKR player to see whether he qualifies for the ICC tournament that is scheduled to take place in the USA and the Caribbean. One person who has been a huge admirer of Rinku is Shah Rukh, who expressed his desire to see the southpaw represent India at the World Cup in an interview with Star Sports. Shah Rukh was heard expressing happiness to having contributed to the careers of several young people who have gone on to play for India in a little excerpt of his interview that was made public after the KKR vs. DC game.

The owner of KKR would then go on to state that he would want to see Rinku join the team, along with a few other talents from the other teams.

“Being able to follow the young people on their road to becoming such incredible athletes and representing the nation. Shah Rukh expressed his excitement over Rinku and a few other young players from other teams getting included in the World Cup roster. They both so well deserve it.

The KKR would acknowledge that his feelings are personal when it comes to Rinku.

But because he’s with us, it’s personal, therefore apna hi toh hota hain. Thus, I would be overjoyed if Rinku joins the team, Shah Rukh stated.

When facing DC, Rinku would bat at number three and was unable to have much of an effect. His opportunities this season have been restricted because of the KKR top order firing. The next matchup between Rinku and KKR and MI is set for May 3.
