Ahead of the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 finale, Dipika Kakar discusses Shoaib Ibrahim’s struggles as an actor
The adored TV pair Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim tied the knot on February 22, 2018. In 2023, after five happy years of marriage, they welcomed their son Ruhaan into the world. Just one week remains till the grand finale of the well-liked dance reality program Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, so Dipika Kakar resorted to social media to ask her followers to vote for her husband Shoaib.
In a poignant Instagram post, Dipika revealed a sensitive side of their relationship by sharing a painful recollection of a trying period when Shoaib battled actor’s self-doubt.
There have been occasions when he has had little confidence, yet he has nonetheless managed to persevere. Though it may seem unfair to say that you don’t deserve it, you still have credit. Even though there were moments when he felt like he had all of his confidence broken, he managed to persevere. I think he hasn’t gotten the recognition he deserves elsewhere,” she said.
At the end of the video, she expressed their common desire for Shoaib to compete in and emerge victorious from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. In the eighth season of the same program, Dipika expressed her want for Shoaib to succeed where she was unable to, emphasizing their shared goals and support for one another.
On the set of the well-known TV program “Sasural Simar Ka,” Dipika and Shoaib initially became friends, which later developed into a love connection. In 2018, they married, demonstrating a deeper degree of devotion to one another. However, they had a devastating miscarriage in 2022, which they freely said was a difficult time for them, before their happy moment of receiving their baby Ruhan in 2023.
Ruhan’s trip was not without difficulties, as soon as he was born, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) put him in an incubator and needed oxygen assistance. Despite the difficulties, Shoaib and Dipika stayed strong and committed to the welfare of their family.
