Day 5 Rathnam Box Office Collections: Vishal’s movie continues to lose money everywhere

On April 26, Vishal’s most recent movie, “Rathnam,” debuted on large screens. “Rathnam,” which had simultaneous releases in Tamil and Telugu, was widely shown globally and received a mixed reception upon its premiere. But ‘Rathnam’ had a respectable opening, with the movie hitting its peak on weekends. However, since Monday was a working day, the movie took in fewer viewers on that day.

However, “Rathnam” allegedly made close to Rs 1.5 crore globally on Tuesday as its box office performance continued to decline throughout the workday. ‘Rathnam’ crossed the 10 crore barrier on Monday, having made almost Rs 9 crore in its maiden weekend.
The box office receipts for “Rathnam,” which stars Vishal, have reportedly reached around Rs 12 crore globally in only five days, according to a Saclink report. The days ahead will be critical for the film. At the box office, Vijay’s “Ghilli” re-release outperforms Vishal’s “Rathnam,” as the 20-year-old picture has garnered significant attention from viewers.
Following the box office successes of “Thamirabharani” and “Poojai,” Vishal reunited with filmmaker Hari for the third time with “Rathnam,” and they managed to meet the high expectations of the audience with the new release. Although the sensual action drama has succeeded in captivating viewers, the plot of the movie fell short of expectations due to its X element. Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Gautham Menon, and Murali Sharma co-star, with Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female protagonist.
