Even on Sunday, Genelia Deshmukh must get up early, and she explains why

For Genelia Deshmukh, Sunday mornings should mean sleeping in, but her children had other ideas about how to spend the day.

Genelia posted a video with her children Rahyl and Riaan on Instagram Stories as they were leaving for a 6:30 a.m. football game.

While Genelia seems to be tired in the video, her children are animated.

"Sunday morning is meant to mean waking up later but not when these 2 decide to play football at 6.30am," she commented while sharing the video. The wedding of Riteish and Genelia took place on February 3, 2012.

They are doting parents to two kids, Rahyl and Riaan.

The 2003 movie "Tujhe Meri Kasam" marked Riteish and Genelia's Bollywood debuts. They have been together for over 20 years after falling in love on the movie sets.

In the meanwhile, Genelia just made her Marathi film debut with "Ved," the directorial debut of her husband Riteish Deshmukh. It is Genelia's first Marathi-language endeavour.

Moreover, Genelia will make a triumphant acting return in a future Telugu movie. The son of well-known entrepreneur Gali Janardhan Reddy and former minister of Karnataka, Kireeti, plays the major role in the untitled movie. It is a bilingual Telugu-Kannada film that Radha Krishna is directing.

The untitled film's big debut was held with renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli attending as the principal guest. Produced by Sai Korrapati, the movie will include music by rock icon Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by Baahubali's cameraman K Senthil Kumar.
