Excuse Me, celebrity In the Mahadev betting app case, Sahil Khan petitions the Sessions Court in Mumbai for anticipatory relief

Actor Sahil Khan of Style and Xcuse Me has applied for anticipatory bail with the Sessions Court in Mumbai after the filing of an FIR by Mumbai Police against him concerning the Mahadev betting app case. Khan was previously identified as an offender in the betting app case, and a complaint was filed at Mumbai’s Matunga Police involving 32 other individuals, including Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Upal.

To escape being arrested, Sahil Khan has now gone to court. Sahil Khan, the accused, has petitioned the Mumbai Sessions Court for anticipatory bail (ABA).

Conversely, the police have expressed opposition to Khan’s ABA, claiming that the accused may tamper with the evidence if he receives ABA.

According to the police, Sahil Khan has to be questioned because the complainant in this case has informed them that Mushtaqin, the brother of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, is also engaged in all of this.

According to police, the accused has established 67 distinct betting websites where individuals are coerced into placing unlawful bets. They have also been suspected of using over 2000 SIM cards for both depositing and withdrawing money. This has been done using forged paperwork.

To transfer money abroad and convert it into Bitcoin, some 1700 fictitious bank accounts were established. With the use of fictitious papers, these documents were also produced at several banks.

The accused allegedly utilized more than a thousand WhatsApp groups and Telegram channels to advertise their betting website, according to the police. All bank accounts, betting websites, and SIM card issuers have been contacted by police to get further information.

In the meanwhile, the actor said in his plea that he had never engaged in any of these legal endeavors.

The news broke on Wednesday morning that one of the two key suspects, Ravi Uppal, was being held in Dubai. Based on a red alert that Interpol issued at the request of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the local police in Dubai have arrested him, according to official sources on Wednesday.
