Salman Khan wrote a touching obituary for Bishan Singh Bedi and addressed it to his son, the actor Angad Bedi. Cricket legend Bishan Singh Bedi passed away on October 23 at the age of 77. The Tiger 3 actor sent his sympathies on Twitter, which is now known as X. He reminded Angad that Bishan was a superb cricketer and that he now had the duty of becoming the family’s leader.

“My dear brother Angad, I am very saddened by the news of your passing. What a bowler and what a guy, he was liked and revered by our whole family.Bless his soul, O Lord. You are now the family’s head. Sardari deta ke upar wala sir hai. Brother, your father was a legend. Love u. @Imangadbedi,” wrote Salman.

Shah Rukh Khan also published a message in Bishan’s honor. “As we grow up, the individuals we see and encounter around us shape our lives in energy, vigor, and simple elegance. One of them was Mr. Bishan Singh Bedi. Thank you, Sir, for teaching us so much about sports and life. May God bless his soul. You will be sorely missed. RIP.”

Angad also responded to Bishan’s passing. “Isn’t it completely in Dad’s character to bowl us over with the ultimate spin ball, one that even we never saw coming,” the actor said in a post on Instagram. We take comfort in the knowledge that he lived a rich, brave, and complete life that inspired many, even as we are in shock and grieving uncontrollably. Every public and private word of love that we have received has touched us.
