“I have never met Ranbir Kapoor, but I want to work with him next,” expresses Shehnaaz Gill in an exclusive statement

In 2023, Shehnaaz Gill began a new chapter in her life. She made her major Bollywood debut in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, starring Salman Khan, in April. She then starred in the sex-positive comedy Thank You For Coming, costarring Bhumi Pednekar, Shibani Bedi, Dolly Singh, and Kusha Kapila. Even though the movies didn’t do well at the box office, she attracted a lot of attention for both. She also gained notoriety for defying her desi persona with her daring and stylish wardrobe choices.

As the year draws to a close, we examine Shehnaaz’s future intentions and goals for her profession. She said that 2023 has been a very exciting year for her, one that has opened her eyes and altered her perspective on life, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha. “I think I’ve grown up a little bit, if not entirely. I used to be so innocent back then. I know how to manage and approach certain situations better now,” the woman said.

She now looks forward to crossing off a task that has been on her mind for a very long time after working with Salman. “Going forward, I want to collaborate with every superstar.” But it would be Ranbir Kapoor if I had to put my finger on someone. Although I’ve never met him in person, I have seen him at gatherings,” the woman said.

Shehnaaz said that she has no qualms about auditioning now and has discovered that it’s the only way to get the kinds of movies and parts that she wants to, despite her continued silence over her impending Bollywood ventures. She said, “I wouldn’t go in for auditions before Bigg Boss,” while discussing it. I’m now available for auditions. I was ignorant of the importance of auditioning before. I know now.

What is her strategy for handling rejections, then? “We all experience rejection at some point in our lives. I’m certain I’ll get a lot of knowledge from it even if I’m denied. I believe that rejection is a necessary part of life. Failure is a necessary part of life, therefore we shouldn’t be afraid of it,” the actor—who rose to fame on Bigg Boss 13—said.

The 29-year-old went on, “We should fail occasionally; success isn’t everything.” We’ll fulfill the plans that fate has for us. And incredible things are constantly in store for us from fate. I don’t believe that just unfortunate circumstances are predestined for us.

However, she is pleased with her ability to effectively alter people’s opinions and perceptions of her. People are astonished when you challenge an image they associate with you, Shehnaaz informed us. They won’t begin to see you differently or believe that you are capable of much more until after some time. It takes time to be accepted. People are now aware that I’m more than simply a Desi girl.
