In a viral video from Thane Pet Clinic, Varun Dhavan, Bhumi Pednekar, and others call for strict action to stop animal abuse

On Tuesday, a video that showed two men mistreating a pet dog at a Thane, Maharashtra pet clinic went popular on social media. As the Chow Chow dog battled, the two males were seen striking and kicking it. The animal is shown being thrashed by a guy, and while he records the footage, another man participates in the horrible behavior, adding to the animal’s agony. Following the filing of a police report, the two males are being held. The event took place in Thane, Maharashtra, at the Vetic Pet Clinic.

Numerous online users have expressed their opposition to animal abuse in their comments after the video went viral. People have voiced their sympathy for helpless animals and called for stronger legislation to penalize people who mistreat the defenseless. In response to the tragedy, celebrities have also spoken out in favor of stronger legislation.

Neetu Kapoor sent a message on Instagram alerting followers to the occurrence and quietly denouncing the horrible deed. In reaction to the event, a number of celebrities have voiced their disdain, including Bhumi Pednekar, Varun Dhawan, Zoya Akhtar, Karishma Tanna, Mini Mathur, and others.

A social media post regarding the event attracted a plethora of celebrity remarks. “The most horrible crime has to change,” wrote Varun Dhawan. “I am so eagerly hoping for the laws to change,” stated TV star Karishma Tanna in an email. How can we bring it about? “How can this amount make a dent to this level of cruelty???!” commented Malaika Arora. implying that the current rules, which impose fines of between Rs. 50 and Rs. 100 on anybody found guilty of hurting an animal. Zoya Akhtar added, “Please change this law,” expressing her shock over the situation. Arrest this dude, please. Kindly hold this clinic accountable. Do not be cruel to animals, please.

“Absolutely horrific!” remarked Samiksha Pednekar, Bhumi’s sister. In addition to the persons who abused the dog, the clinic itself need to bear some of the blame. Since they were responsible for the occurrence, their carelessness must be held accountable. The laws must be amended. As Bhumi Pednekar put it, “This is very unsettling. More stringent legislation is required. “I could even BEAR to watch this video!” Mini Mathur commented. The owners of this abhorrent “vet” facility must to be imprisoned, and the two individuals who beat puppies ought to be subject to STRICT rules in order to remain in their insane care! WARNING: Everyone on thane @vetic.in must be taken down. Stronger legislation is required to prevent animal abuse. So very unsettling, as Indian YouTuber Aaliyah Kashyap put it. The law has to be changed to hold individuals like this responsible because the penalty that is now in place is ridiculous. AWFUL
