Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who was initially hesitant to work on this movie, was able to be cast after she joined the project. Regarding the writing, he was not persuaded. But once Nayan said yes, he consented. I got to spend a lot of time with her because of the movie. We became interested in less than a year.
