IPL 2024: The Chennai crowd is in awe of AR Rahman and Sonu Nigam’s musical touch at the opening ceremony

Music legends AR Rahman and Sonu Nigam wowed the crowd with their beautiful performances, adding a melodic touch to the Indian Premier League’s big opening ceremony.
Rahman subsequently joined Sonu Nigam on stage as he began his performance with the song “Vande Mataram.”

The music great played a selection of his hit songs, ranging from “Jai Ho” to “Nee Singham Dhan.”

Setting the scene before the game was not just Sonu Nigam and AR Rahman but also Mohit Chauhan and Neeti Mohan.

Actors Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, who starred in the film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” elevated the occasion with their fiery performances.
During the occasion, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, often known as Khiladi, wowed the crowd with a powerful performance.

He moved to his hit tunes, which included “Chura Ke Dil Mera,” “Hare Ram Hare Ram,” and “Make some noise for the desi boyz.”
During the movie “War,” Chote Miyan Tiger performed a dance routine to the song “Jai Jai Shivshankar.”

The eagerly anticipated match between the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at MA Chidambaram Stadium is finally here for cricket enthusiasts.
As a result, the home audience will be happy to see the 42-year-old begin another IPL season, but this time under the leadership of Ruturaj Gaikwad, who succeeded Dhoni as captain on Thursday. The match will also usher in a new chapter in the remarkable history of CSK, as Gaikwad was chosen captain of the team on match day, putting Dhoni’s position at the forefront.
