Rebecca Ferguson, a “idiot co-star,” allegedly refused to work with Tom Cruise after he “screamed at” her on site, according to Twitter

Rebecca Ferguson of Dune: Part Two said that she previously collaborated with a well-known yet obnoxious co-actor who had her defend herself. Despite her refusal to identify him, some on X (formerly Twitter) believe it to be Tom Cruise. In an interview with Josh Smith for the podcast Reign, the actress was asked to reminisce about a time when she stood up for herself.

“I was really afraid.”
“I did a film with an absolute idiot of a co-star,” remarked Rebecca Ferguson. The fact that this individual was unable to let go of the scenes was the reason for their extreme insecurity and rage. And I believe that I was yelled at because I was feeling so exposed and uneasy. I used to weep when I left the set. In front of the whole crew, this individual would really look at me and ask, “You call yourself an actor?” I have to work with this, is that right? What is this? And I was just breaking there as I stood.”

“This happens,” she said, “but there was no safety net for me because this person was first on the call sheet.” Nobody, then, had my back. And I recall telling them to get off my set as I walked on the next day. This is the first time I’ve ever raised my voice. I can still clearly recall how terrified I was and how I told this individual to screw off. I never want to see you again, therefore, I’m going to work with a tennis ball. The producers then, I seem to recall, stated, “You can’t do this to number one.” This individual needs to be allowed on the set. “But the person can turn around, and I can act to the back,” I said. I also did. I was very afraid, but ever since then, I have never allowed myself to wonder, “Why did that happen?” when I returned home.

Comments on Rebecca Ferguson’s statement
A video of the actress criticizing her impolite co-star sparked a lot of reactions. “We can eliminate Tom Cruise right?” one person tweeted. Online, get to work. “I believe the actor she is referring to is Tom Cruise, which clarifies why her character was eliminated in the most recent Mission Impossible film,” another person said. Their demise. Among the finest elements of the franchise was she.

Some, however, weren’t quite certain that Rebecca Ferguson was referring to Tom. “She doesn’t say whether it was a man or woman, right?” tweeted a user from X. I believe that calling someone a “actor” leads people to believe that she is speaking about a man, even though she refers to “that person” throughout the whole conversation. Another said, “That was my guess,” and concurred. Hugh Jackman or Tom Cruise aren’t eligible. Although Hugh Grant wasn’t the lead actor in the film, I still assumed it may be him. While I can imagine Dwayne Johnson as a possibility, I don’t think that one is either. Who knows, then?

A few others included Michael Fassbender as well. Rebecca Ferguson starred alongside him in the 2017 film The Snowman.
