Mansoor Ali Khan, co-star of “Leo,” is criticized by Trisha Krishnan for his “sexist and repulsive” remarks

Star of Tamil cinema Trisha Krishnan has denounced “Leo” co-star Mansoor Ali Khan for his “vile and disgusting” comments on their lack of screen time together in the successful film.

Khan, who starred in the Vijay-directed film “Leo” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and had a significant cameo, recently made disparaging comments about not having a scene with Trisha during the film’s filming in Kashmir.

Remarks from Khan that Trisha described as “sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive, and in bad taste” will never be heard from her again.

I’ve seen a new video in which Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan makes deplorable and nasty remarks against me. This is sexist, insulting, misogynistic, disgusting, and in poor taste, all of which I vehemently reject.

“He may continue to wish, but I am thankful that I have never had to share screen time with someone as pitiful as him, and I will make sure that doesn’t happen for the remainder of my film career. “Humanity suffers from people like him,” the message was posted on X.

Kanagaraj also publicly endorsed Trisha. “Disheartened and enraged to hear the misogynistic comments made by Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan,” said the director.

“Respect for women, fellow artists and professionals should be non-negotiable in any industry and I absolutely condemn this behaviour,” he said.

Singer Chinmayi Sripaada responded to Khan’s statements as well.

“The thing about men like Mansoor Ali Khan is that they have always been talking like this,” Chinmayi said in a post on X. Never condemned, while other wealthy, powerful, and influential individuals laughed along.”

With Vijay portraying Parthi/Leo and Trisha as Sathya, “Leo” was released last month.

Upcoming projects starring “Ponniyin Selvan” stars Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal in “Ram”, Mani Ratnam in the Kamal Haasan-led “Thug Life”, “Magizh Thirumeni” and Ajith in “Vidaa Muyarchi”
