After learning about a wrestling training camp from a friend, he enrolled as a pastime and finally signed a contract with the WWE in 2002. John worked a variety of odd jobs at this period to support himself before his career as a wrestler took off. He used to work at the Gold’s Gym retail area in California as a limousine driver.
