Men Afraid of Deepika Padukone’s Intimate Relationship Hint Are Made Fun of by Vir Das

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, the buzzworthy Bollywood pair, kicked off the eighth season of Koffee with Karan with a bang. But when Deepika spoke about their early, open relationship, she received negative feedback online. In response to the abuse, actor and comedian Vir Das tweeted his oblique support for Deepika.

Moment of silence for all the guys who are angry because a Bollywood celebrity well above their pay grade was casually dating for a spell and wasn’t as devoted to them as their fantasy girlfriend is, wrote Vir Das on X. The pair disclosed on the television that they weren’t exclusive up until Ranveer made the proposal. They were “technically allowed” to view other individuals, which caused a stir on the internet.

Deepika said, “I came from difficult relationships, so I wanted to be single for a while.” I was going through a moment when I was saying, “I just don’t want to be committed or attached.” I also had fun. I didn’t “commit commit” until he proposed to me, and then he shows there. As thus, there was no “commitment.” We would just keep going back to one other, even if we were legally permitted to see other people.

Married in 2018, Ranveer and Deepika debuted their never-before-seen wedding video on Karan Johar’s program. They have about 11 years of dating experience. Karan became rather emotional as Deepika and Ranveer shared a sneak peek of their stunning wedding video on the first episode of Koffee With Karan 8. “I’m sort of single and not in a relationship. I just feel like I’m missing out on something by not being in one. You don’t have a personal companion with whom to spend your days together sharing nothings. And when I wake up every day, a little part of me experiences that vacuum,” he said.
