Shark Tank India 3: Peyush Bansal queries, “Did you go to Google claiming that you can do better ORC than they can?” after discovering a flaw in presenters Akshita and Bonny’s optical character recognition patents

Three compelling and creative proposals centered on finding solutions for problems with the environment, health, and physical disabilities were featured in the most recent episode of Shark Tank India 3. Akshita Sachdeva and Bonny Dave presented their third pitch using AI-powered technology that reads and narrates information to improve comprehension for those with visual impairments.

After that, Akshita and Bonny tell their tale of how they got together and created the business.Following a quick introduction, Dipali, Akshita and Bonny’s 100% vision challenged coworker, demonstrated their product. The sharks were pleased with the demo. Peyush, however, was skeptical and questioned, “Is your OCR the finest character recognition in India and worldwide? You didn’t need to visit Shark Tank if you can determine whether it is. This may have been licensed. It’s quite impressive that you can OCR so effectively.” Akshita goes on to describe their product’s goal, noting that at first they concentrated on colleges, universities, and libraries.
“Did you go to Google claiming that you can do better ORC than they can?” Peyush then questioned. Then, Radhika queries them over their income and unit economics. Peyush and Ronnie decide to make an offer after further questioning, but Anupam and Radhika decline. Peyush and Ronnie disclose that they will need to plan forward and turn this into a company. At 10%, they are offering Rs 60 lakhs.
Aman makes a single offer to each of the pitchers after Peyush’s. “You must be doing something right because you are earning Rs 1 cr,” he remarks. All I can say to you is to dream big.” His proposal is for 4% equity and Rs 60 lakhs. Aman pursues 3% equity even farther. The sharks are taken aback by Akshita and Bonny’s counteroffer when they return. For 1.5% and all three sharks, it would cost Rs 60 lakhs. Aman withdraws, and Peyush and Ronnie reassess at 6%. And they close a transaction at a value of Rs 10 cr, or Rs 60 lakhs, for 6%.
