Pedro Pascal Is Considering Playing “Fantastic Four”‘s Mr. Fantastic

The “Fantastic Four” film from Marvel Studios is reportedly eyeing Hollywood actor Pedro Pascal to portray Mr. Fantastic or Reed Richards.

During a research journey to space, Mr. Fantastic, a great scientist, gets exposed to gamma rays, which gives him the power to stretch and flex like elastic.

According to Variety.com, Pascal would continue to play legendary characters in this position.

His career reached new heights when he was chosen to play the title bounty hunter in “The Mandalorian,” the first “Star Wars” TV series and the first Disney+ offering. His career originally took off with his famous role as Prince Oberyn Martell on “Game of Thrones.”

‘The Last of Us’ is an ongoing series for which the 48-year-old actor has received an Emmy nomination.

Matt Shakman, the director of “WandaVision,” will oversee “Fantastic Four.”

After Jon Watts left the film, he took over as director of all three of Marvel and Sony’s “Spider-Man” films starring Tom Holland.

The premiere of “Fantastic Four” is set for May 2, 2025. There will be more Fantastic Four appearances in the MCU after this. John Krasinski has a fleeting appearance as a Reed Richards in an alternative dimension in 2022’s “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” just before the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) tears him to pieces.

In the years after Disney acquired Marvel, fans begged Krasinski to portray the superhero, and his wife, Emily Blunt, was the clear choice to play Susan Storm, also known as the Invisible Woman, who can produce strong force fields and become invisible at command.

The castings for the other two major characters in the title quartet, Susan Storm and her impulsive brother Johnny Storm (also known as The Human Torch) and Reed’s closest buddy Ben Grimm (also known as The Thing), have not yet been revealed.
