Rashmika Is Honestly Alarmed; Loan Apps Bully Women Using Photoshopped Porn Images: Chinmayi’s Major Allegation

Following the unexpected viral success of Rashmika Mandanna’s deepfake video on the internet, singer Chinmayi Sripaada has come out in strong support of the actress. Deepfake films may be “the next weapon they use to target and harass girls to extort, blackmail, and rape,” according to Chinmayi, who also expressed alarm about this possibility.

“Several months ago, a video of one of our most favorite actresses in an AI avatar performed to Kaavaalaa from Jailer emerged – except it wasn’t her,” Chinmayi recounted in a long comment on her official X account. The fake was deep. It is uncertain if Ms. Simran gave her prior authorization for her image to be used in the Deep Fake AI depiction of Kaavaalaa. She also posted it on her social media accounts.

“Now that a Deep fake video of Rashmika has surfaced, and I’ve seen her Instagram story where she genuinely looks disturbed, Deep Fake is going to be the next weapon they use to target and harass and blackmail girls to extort, blackmail, and rape,” the woman went on. “In a country where women’s bodies are exploited everyday.”

In the aftermath of the Rashmika Mandanna incident, Chinmayi further demanded a national awareness campaign about the risks of deepfakes and said that “loan apps harass women borrowers with photoshopped images of their faces over porn photos and they can’t deal with that.” However, it will be more difficult for the untrained eye to recognize a Deep Fake. Not everyone has a high-definition display.

“Thank you @Chinmayi for raising awareness on this, hoping strict action is taken and regulated guidelines are put in place,” Rashmika said on X in response to her remark.

Amitabh Bachchan, who collaborated with Rashmika on the film Goodbye, expressed support for pursuing legal action to prevent identity theft of this kind. He wrote, “Yeah, there is a good case for legal.”

Rashmika had sent a statement on Monday expressing her sadness over the deepfake video that went viral. She had demanded a severe response in the message, saying, “But if this happened to me when I was in school or college, I genuinely can’t imagine how could I ever tackle this.”
