Salman Khan Will Begin Filming Sikandar, The First Schedule of AR Murugadoss, in May | Details Inside

The title of Salman Khan’s forthcoming Eid movie with AR Murugadoss has just been revealed. He made the commitment to return to the big screen for Eid 2025, even though he won’t be having an Eid release this year. Salman said that Sikandar, his next project with AR Murugadoss, would be released on Eid in 2025.

Salman posted the title slate, which said, “Sajid Nadiadwala presents Salman Khan in and as Sikandar,” on Instagram. Salman acknowledged this year’s Eid films, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff) and Maidaan (starring Ajay Devgn), by sharing the title. It’s Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and ‘Maidaan’ that I’m celebrating today, and Eid Sikandar is coming up soon. Happy Eid Mubarak to all of you!

Mid Day was informed by a production-related source that the director seemed to have overcome a date conflict. Murugadoss is now in June filming an action movie with Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan that is slated to be named SK23. This implies that for the next two months, he will have to balance his time between the Tamil and Hindi projects.

Before Sikandar takes the floor, Murugadoss wants to finish as much of SK23 as possible. He will return in May to complete Sivakarthikeyan’s film after filming Sikandar’s first schedule. He’ll be totally committed to the Salman-starring film starting in July, according to a source.

A R Murugadoss gave a preview of the movie in a recent interview with the Times of India. He had said, “It will be filled with intense action sequences, strong emotional content, and a potent social message.” It’s going to be an all-India movie. In this movie, viewers may anticipate seeing a different side of Salman Khan.

“Salman and I had discussed this project five years ago, but we were unable to move forward at that time due to circumstances,” he said. He requested another narration not too long ago. Subsequently, he expressed that the script resonated with him and requested that we get started on it right away.
