Sandeep Reddy Vanga preferred THIS guy to portray Kabir Singh rather than Shahid Kapoor

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is now experiencing immense success from the Ranbir Kapoor film “Animal,” is also well-known for his Telugu superhit Arjun Reddy’s Hindi version, Kabir Singh. It is a well-known fact, nevertheless, that Shahid Kapoor was not initially considered for the role.

Sandeep said in an interview with IDream Media that he intended for Ranveer Singh to play the part but felt it was too “dark.” Sandeep went on to explain that he was contacted often by Mumbai to do the remake. Sandeep wanted to work with Ranveer Singh once he was first presented with the idea. But in the end, he made the decision that he would not carry it out as it was too dark for him.
Returning to Animal, it was recently disclosed that he had a 40-minute phone conversation with Ranveer Singh after the film’s release.
Ranveer Singh’s response to Animal was given by Sandeep Reddy Vanga in a Dainik Bhaskar interview footage that was posted on Reddit. Vanga said that he was surprised as well, noting that the actor had spoken to him on the phone for about forty minutes. After reading Singh’s long letter many times, he found it entertaining. The message’s exact contents were kept under wraps, but Vanga said Singh brought up some parts of Animal that he realized, “Oh, this is also in my film.”

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga responded to a media story that referenced a prior comment he had made during the interview. He emphasized the backdrop in which a celebrity’s second ex-wife attacked movies like Kabir Singh and Baahubali 2, alleging they would encourage sexism and tolerate stalking.
In response to the statement, Sandeep expressed his belief that the person putting out the allegation may not understand the difference between chasing someone and politely approaching them. He used Shah Rukh Khan’s portrayal of Rahul in the film Darr, where the character follows Kiran around even after she expresses indifference, to demonstrate his argument. The movie defines this kind of conduct as stalking.
In response, Sandeep Reddy Vanga pointed out that Kabir Singh only approaches the person he likes in a classroom, in contrast to the character in Darr who pursues the object of his devotion nonstop. He said that it is normal and appropriate for a male to approach a girl in order to show interest in her, so why is it necessary to make a big deal out of it?
