Shah Rukh Khan’s security protection was upgraded to Y+ level as a result of reported death threats

According to sources cited by Indian Express, the Maharashtra State Intelligence Department (SID) has instructed the state’s special protection units (SPUs), district police, and police commissionerates to give “Y+ with an escort scale of security to Khan with immediate effect.”

The formal message was sent on October 5. In addition, it said that further protection had been put in place as a result of recent “imminent and probable” threats against Shah Rukh. Shah Rukh will have 11 security professionals at his disposal in the Y+ category, including six commandos, four police officers, and a traffic control car. His Mumbai house, Mannat, will be the location of the police officers.
