Shruti Haasan says she was aware Lokesh Kanagaraj will look amazing on film

While the first look at “Thalaivar 171” is generating a lot of attention, director Lokesj Kanagaraj is also receiving recognition for his performance in the Tamil song video “Inimel.” The song was written and produced by Kamal Haasan, and the music video features Lokesh Kanagaraj and Shruti Haasan. Shruti Haasan composed and conceptualised the video. Dwarkesh Prabakar directed the ‘Inimel’ music video, which was his first major project.

Fans of the filmmaker were pleased to see him in a different light when the song’s teaser was released, generating a lot of excitement that led to the song’s full release.
Actress and singer Shruti Haasan has now said that although creating the four-minute “Inime” music video was exhilarating, it wasn’t particularly difficult. In an open interview with Pinkvilla, the actress described her on-screen relationship with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, saying that it was special and quite unusual for her since Lokesh is a timid guy.

The actress showered Lokesh with compliments, stating that she had always known he would look good in front of the camera. She said that he enthusiastically consented to be included in the video right away. She said that the music video was designed to complement Lokesh Kanagaraj’s personality rather than overshadow it.
Regarding the song’s melody, Shruti Haasan revealed that her father, Kamal Haasan, wrote the song’s lyrics in the end. She worked on and experimented with the Tamil rendition of the song alongside her father, who had composed the song’s original English lyrics on the piano the previous year.
