This day marks the release of Sara Ali Khan’s thrilling drama Ae Watan Mere Watan on OTT

Prior to India’s 74th Republic Day festivities, the first look of Sara Ali Khan’s film Ae Watan Mere Watan was unveiled earlier in January. Sara Ali Khan will portray Usha Mehta, a brave freedom warrior, in the thriller-drama Ae Watan Mere Watan, which is based on actual events. Following this, Karan unveiled the movie’s updated motion poster.

In November, Karan and Sara went to Goa for the 54th International Film Festival of India to see the movie’s poster unveiled. In the most recent image, a little girl speaking into a radio-like gadget in a poorly lit room conveys tension and intense attention while transporting viewers to a bygone period.

A fresh teaser has just been made public. A trailer featuring Sara Ali Khan’s voice as Usha fervently calling for the country to band together against British rule via a covert radio transmission revealed the digital release date.

Sara Ali Khan is heard stating, “Tayyar ho jayiye Angrezo se azadi ki akhiri ladai ke liye,” during the voiceover. Aur yeh hai desh ka radio main hoon Usha (Ready for the last stand against the British)? It’s me, Usha, and this is the national radio.

The Quit India Movement of 1942 serves as the setting for this fictitious story. It’s a tale about the bravery, nationalism, selflessness, and ingenuity of India’s youngsters throughout the country’s liberation movement.

“I am honored to be able to play a role who embodies bravery, fortitude, and courage both as an actor and, more significantly, as an Indian. Because Kannan Iyer sir is so deeply involved in this subject, it is an absolute honor to work with him. I will put a lot of effort into this endeavor even though, of course, it is really difficult to essay a character that is completely different from anything I have ever done before. Above all, I’m going to treasure each and every day that I get to portray a mysterious freedom warrior,” Sara Ali Khan said, expressing her enthusiasm for the part.
