‘Tilasmi Bahein’: Sonakshi shares her thoughts. I have never recorded a song in a single take

Actress Sonakshi Sinha discussed how she performed the song “Tilasmi Bahein” from “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” a Sanjay Leela Bhansali series, flawlessly in a single take.
The actress said that she had never recorded a song in a single take and that the director had encouraged her to give it her all.

During the trailer premiere, Sonakshi discussed filming for “Tilasmi Bahein” and remarked, “I can’t tell you how difficult it was because I still can’t believe that it happened at all and how quickly it happened.”

“I went on set, and we shot till about 3 p.m., and then Sanjay just got up and decided that ‘nahi mujhe yeh nahi karna, mujhe kuch aur karna hai’.”
Anecdote from the set was given by the actress.
“He made the decision to have the ADs sit down, call each person individually, and have them dance to the music. We just assumed that he was enjoying himself and amusing himself by doing all of this on the set at seven o’clock in the evening. Get on the table and do the “junglee dance,” which you are so excellent at anyway, as this man did over here. After that, she said, “Woh log haath-pair dabayengay, then chair ke saath yeh karna… Fir tum hookstep pakadlena.”
This, then, is the structure of the whole song. I then remarked, “Chopped karke loge na.” At that point, he had already set up the camera and said, “Nahi nahi, this is one shot,” Sonakshi remarked.
“I have never recorded a song in a single take throughout my career, and the first time it was planned, it was for a song by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Before I could pull this off, I had to practice a few times,” the actress said.
Still, she nailed the shot because of the director’s faith in her.

“He exuded confidence, encouragement, and faith in my ability to succeed. “That really motivated me to give it everything I had, and I was ‘Okayed’ on the first take,” the actress said.
