Vicky Kaushal praises the performance of Vaibhav Gupta on Indian Idol 14: “Sentimental to a Concert”

Indian Idol Season 14’s episode this weekend promises to be an exciting showcase with special guests Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Shaikh, and Sanya Malhotra from the forthcoming movie Sam Bahadur. The three will assist the candidates who incorporate a patriotic theme into their musical performances in a special Dil Bole India episode. One particularly notable participant, Vaibhav Gupta, a.k.a. Chote Sahab from Kanpur, is getting ready to wow the crowd once again.

His performance of a famous song from Rang De Basanti, starring Aamir Khan, is expected to make an impact on guest judges Vicky and Sanya as well as judges Kumar Sanu, Shreya Ghoshal, and Vishal Dadlani.

The Masaan actor complimented Vaibhav’s vocal abilities, according to a Pinkvilla story, stating, “I was told to come on Indian Idol the show, not Indian Idol the concert.” That’s exactly how your performance was. However, the Dangal actress, who was equally astounded by his skill, said, “We were waiting to go on stage with you, from musicians to everyone singing with you.” You were enjoying yourself on stage, and your performance was excellent.

Vaibhav Gupta on Indian Idol 14 was also praised by Judge Shreya Ghoshal for his outstanding performance. She emphasized the beauty in his singing as she spoke about his extraordinary passion and intensity. Shreya Ghoshal added her appreciation for the exquisite way he conveyed each note and phrase, stating that she was completely engrossed in the feelings he was expressing.

In the meanwhile, the next episode of Indian Idol Season 14 seeks to rekindle nationalistic sentiments in advance of India’s November 19 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Final matchup against Australia. Vicky Kaushal was most recently photographed at the World Cup semi-final between India and New Zealand with Kunal Kemmu and director Anand Tiwari.

Along with Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Shaikh, and Sanya Malhotra, Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur also stars a number of gifted actors in important parts, including Govind Namdev, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Neeraj Kabi. Sam Manekshaw, a distinguished Indian Army commander and the country’s first Field Marshal, is the subject of this biographical play. The movie is slated to open on December 1, 2023, the same day as the Ranbir Kapoor flick Animal.

Hussain Kuwajerwala is again hosting, but a team of judges that includes Shreya Ghoshal, Kumar Sanu, and Vishal Dadlani will be judging Indian Idol 14.
