Watch as Akshay Kumar confirms his Telugu debut with Kannappa and meets Mohan Babu and Vishnu Manchu in Hyderabad

While Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar’s Eid film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is still showing in theaters, the actor is presently preparing for his Telugu debut. He will co-star with Prabhas and Mohanlal in the movie Kannappa. Vishnu Manchu posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing Akshay being greeted at a five-star hotel in Hyderabad and having conversations with Vishnu and Mohan Babu regarding the movie. Akshay is seen wearing athletic-style headgear with black pants and a shirt.

Following in the footsteps of #Prabhas, @Mohanlal, @PDdancing, and @realsarathkumar, the cast of the film now includes @akshaykumar.Watch this space for more thrilling updates. The first glimpse of the movie, released in March on the auspicious festival of Maha Shivratri, drove the fanbase into a frenzy.

In addition, Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Nayanthara will be in the movie. Although he played “Vishnu Vijaya” in the 1993 bilingual film “Ashaant,” which was released in Kannada, this is Akshay’s first Telugu feature. Additionally, he made his film debut in Tamil with Shankar’s 2018 hit film “2.0.” His third film project in South Indian cinema will be “Kannappa.” The movie, which is being produced by 24 Frames Factory and Ava Entertainment, will be released in English and other major Indian languages. Stephen Devassy and Manisharma will provide the music.
