Watch As Katrina Kaif Fall For A Deepfake And Speaks French Fluently In A Clip With Morphed Audio

Concern about technological abuse and the absence of legislative protections has grown after a deepfake video featuring Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh discussing politics went viral. Recently, a video featuring Katrina Kaif speaking in French with a changed voice has also gone popular on social media. The original video was shot in 2017 during the book launch party for Bina Kak’s book, Silent Sentinels of Ranthambhore, in Mumbai, where Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan were in attendance. Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, Salman’s father, also joined them. The video, which shows Katrina speaking flawless French with the help of artificial intelligence, was published on her fan page.

There was a warning in the deepfake video. It said, “Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif both attended Bina Kak’s book launch for Silent Sentinels of Ranthambhore.” Because of their Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya movie, Salman and Katrina have a close relationship. In the film, she portrayed Salman’s mother. Notice: Although the French voiceover is artificial intelligence (AI) produced, the speech is exactly the same as the speaker’s original speech.

Despite the caption, a lot of people were fooled by how realistic it seemed. “Does she speak French and Arabic?” inquired one person. “She’s so incredibly talented, unlike any other actress,” someone else said.

Concurrently, Ranveer Singh’s official spokesman verified that a FIR has been filed for further investigation by the Cyber Crime Cell, after a police complaint made by Ranveer.”Yes, we have filed the police complaint and FIR has been lodged against the handle that was promoting the AI-generated deepfake video of Mr. Ranveer Singh (sic),” the spokesman said in a statement.

In an artificial intelligence (AI) produced deepfake video, the actor seemed to discuss politics. The actor’s recent trip to Varanasi is captured on camera, but the audio is a voice clone created using artificial intelligence. Ranveer may be seen in the video pleading with voters to support “Nayay (justice)” in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. It was eventually made clear, however, that the viral video had been altered and changed. Ranveer also spoke about the problem and issued a social media warning, writing on X, “Deepfake se bacho dostonnn.”

Aamir Khan, the popular actor from Bollywood, was seen endorsing a political party in another deepfake video that went viral earlier this month on social media. Following widespread public interest in the video, Mumbai police acted and filed a formal complaint (FIR) against an unidentified individual.
