He may have intended to become more famous than Amitabh, according to rumors. Vinod demanded Rs 2.5 lakh for his involvement in the movie, however, Amitabh was paid Rs 1.5 lakh.

Amitabh Bachchan’s rise to fame is said to have been significantly influenced by Vinod Khanna’s abrupt hiatus during his peak. Following a five-year hiatus during which Amitabh had made a name for himself in the business, Vinod Khanna made a comeback to the cinema.
