About Trump, Macron said, “I Take Leaders That People Give Me”

Paris: When questioned about the likelihood of Donald Trump being re-elected as US president, French President Emmanuel Macron responded on Tuesday by saying he would deal with the leaders that other nations gave him.

During a press conference, Macron said, “I’ve always had the same philosophy: I take the leaders that people give me.”

“A key ally is the United States of America… It’s a democracy going through a crisis where China’s power comes in second and the democracy itself comes first. It is something that all of us Europeans must understand.”
