Agent of the Secret Service is bit by Biden’s dog

The media claimed that US Vice President Joe Biden’s two-year-old German Shepherd, Commander, bit another Secret Service member in the White House. This was the dog’s eleventh documented incident of biting.

A Secret Service Uniformed Division policeman was bitten by a First Family pet yesterday (Monday) about 8 o’clock. Medical staff on the compound treated the officer, USSS Chief of Communications Anthony Guglielmi told CNN on Tuesday.

According to Guglielmi, the wounded officer “is doing OK” and talked with Secret Service Uniformed Division Chief Alfonso M. Dyson Sr. on Tuesday.

At least 11 incidences of biting at the White House and in Delaware have featured Commander, according to CNN, including one in November 2022 when an officer was sent to the hospital after the President’s younger dog bit their arms and legs.

Following the events, White House officials had said in July that the Bidens were implementing new training and leash procedures for the family pet.

When asked whether the additional training had taken place or if any more action would be undertaken, Elizabeth Alexander, the First Lady’s Communications Director, said, “The First Family continues to work on ways to help Commander handle the often unpredictable nature of the White House grounds.”

Major, another dog owned by Biden, was responsible for many bite occurrences in the White House.

Later, the German Shepherd was removed from the White House, and in 2021, Commander came.
