‘Fit for duty’ certified Joe Biden after yearly physical

After a thorough yearly checkup, US President Joe Biden’s doctor, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, has deemed him “fit for duty”. Even though he is the oldest US president ever, Biden exercises five days a week as part of a rigorous health regimen.
The president recently had a two and a half hour medical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, which concluded with favorable findings.

In her six-page report, Dr. O’Connor mentioned minor hip pain and praised Biden’s successful use of a CPAP machine to treat his sleep apnea. No new health issues were found, however.
“The President feels well and this year’s physical identified no new concerns,” O’Connor stated in a letter. “He continues to be fit for duty and fully executes all of his responsibilities without any exemptions or accommodations.”
President Biden maintains an active lifestyle despite obstacles, playing sports like golf and bicycling on a daily basis. As he and Trump prepare for a potential rematch in the elections, his health situation continues to play a crucial role in the political environment.
Political ramifications and public scrutiny
Biden’s memory was often questioned in a recent special counsel report that examined his handling of classified materials, calling it “hazy,” “fuzzy,” “faulty,” “poor,” and having “significant limitations.” The investigation also brought to light Biden’s inability to recall significant life events, such as the day his son Beau passed away and his time serving as vice president.
Biden’s health is being closely monitored by the public throughout his reelection campaign, particularly in light of his elderly age.
When asked whether there was anything that Americans ought to be worried about, Biden jeered at his advanced age. “Well, they think I look too young,” joked Biden.
Even if the president keeps a busy schedule and laughs about his age, questions about his physical and mental ability are still raised in public. The purpose of his physician’s report is to allay concerns by highlighting Biden’s ability to carry out his presidential responsibilities.
Trump comparison
The 77-year-old former president, Donald Trump, may run against Biden again in November’s elections. Trump’s physical appearance and weight in particular have drawn attention to his health. Regarding their age and suitability for the presidency, both contenders are under public examination.
Reactions on the political front
The research is released at a time when many people are worried about Biden’s age, including some in his own party. But in response, Biden highlights the experience and knowledge that come with growing older and calls attention to some of Trump’s own embarrassing moments in public.
