The CRPF hosts the Tiranga Rally for bikes in Srinagar

commemorating Azadi Ka On Sunday in Srinagar, Amrit Mahotsav and Nalin Prabhat, ADG, J&K Zone CRPF, launched off a sizable bike rally known as the Tiranga Rally.
Senior officials of the Force as well as Ajay Kumar Yadav, IG, Srinagar Sector CRPF, were present.
The rally, which was sponsored by the CRPF’s Srinagar Sector and directed by Mathew A. John, DIG, Range Srinagar South, attracted a large number of enthusiastic bike riders who waved the Tricolor as they rode towards the rally’s conclusion at Nishat Garden, which looked out over the serene Dal Lake.

The 54 Battalion CRPF flagged in the rally at Nishat Garden, where it was welcomed with a warm and exuberant welcome by Nalin Prabhat, ADG, and Ajay Kumar Yadav, IG.

The rally, which was held to celebrate the nation’s 75th anniversary of independence, attracted attention, inspired patriotism, and reverberated the message of “Har Ghar Tiranga” as onlookers gathered to join in and support the celebration by singing patriotic songs and chanting the slogans “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Vande Matram.”

Along the way, the rally gave out the national flag to the people and urged them to join the nationwide movement. While all of the CRPF units stationed in Srinagar took part in the massive event, the 132 Bn under the direction of RK Baruah, Commandant, was tasked with organizing the flag-off ceremony while the 54 Bn, under the command of Prabhat Kumar Sandwar, Commandant, staged a trouble-free and orderly flag-in ceremony.

The “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi started last year, has only gained momentum as a result of his appeal to the nation to participate in the movement this year from August 13 to 15. The CRPF’s Srinagar Sector has organized several rallies and activities around the city, drawing inspiration.

Nalin Prabhat, ADG, expressed his appreciation for the CRPF Tiranga Bike Rally by praising the CRPF personnel’s eagerness in reaching out to valley inhabitants as well as their unwavering dedication to maintaining the valley’s peace, law, and order via ongoing operations and unrelenting watch.

Ajay Kumar Yadav, IG, the chief guest, also thanked the people of Srinagar for their support and involvement.

Yadav emphasized that Lal chowk was selected as the beginning site of the Rally because of its extensive renovation and historic importance, adding that it is yet another activity held to engage the public.

He credited the route choices to the embellishments that further enhanced the beauty and vibrancy of the surroundings in Srinagar, altering the city.
