Mumbai Reports One Death and Four New Covid-19 Cases

The number of Covid-19 cases in Mumbai increased by four on Tuesday, bringing the total to 11,63,965, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

One additional patient died from the virus, bringing the total number of fatalities to 19,774, according to a notice. According to the notice, the dead was a 57-year-old lady who had chronic renal illness and TB.

Mumbai got one instance of Covid-19 on Monday but no fatalities. According to the announcement, 547 more tests were carried out throughout the city, bringing their total to 1,89,00,811 thus far.

The BMC reports that 25 active cases remain in the city after seven more individuals recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 11,44,166.
