On March 1, IIM-Sambalpur will conduct a start-up meet

On March 1, IIM-Sambalpur will hold a one-day 100-Cube Start-up Conclave on campus in an effort to encourage Indian young to be innovative and valuable creators.

Organised by the Indian Ministry of Education in partnership with IIM-Sambalpur, the program aims to build 100 start-ups on its premises by 2036, with an estimated worth of Rs 100 crore for each.

Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Minister of Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, is expected to be the event’s main guest. At the conclave, the “I-Hub Foundation,” IIM-Sambalpur’s incubator, will officially launch.

I-Hub will collaborate with different players in Odisha’s entrepreneurial environment while operating both physically and electronically.

Fifty start-ups from Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Bargarh, and other Odisha districts would be on display at the start-up spectacular. A total of 1,200 people are expected at the event, including 300 start-ups, important stakeholders, investors, mentors from the industry, officials from the ministry, students, and people from the venture capital and angel investor communities.

“The event would not only provide start-ups a platform to showcase their potential but also offer comprehensive support and networking opportunities with various stakeholders,” said Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director of IIM-S.
