Registrations for WBJEE 2024 Close on January 31; How to Apply

The WBJEE 2024 application process is about to come to an end, according to the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). Before January 31, 2024, qualified applicants may submit their applications online at wbjeeb.nic.in, the official WBJEEB website. To minimize last-minute stress, applicants are recommended to finish the application procedure as soon as feasible.

Furthermore, between February 3 and February 5, applicants will have the chance to modify their application forms via the WBJEE board. The timetable states that the WBJEE 2024 will take place on April 28 and that the admit card will be issued on April 18.

Pen and paper testing will be conducted in two sessions, with the first session running from 11 AM to 1 PM and the second from 2 PM to 4 PM. There will be 155 multiple-choice questions in physics, chemistry, and mathematics in the question paper.

WBJEE 2024: CRITERIA FOR Eligibility
Applicants must be citizens of India or have OCI status (pending approval from the relevant authority). Only OCI applicants would be able to apply for Unreserved seats under the All-India quota.

Educational Requirements: To be eligible for the WBJEE 2024, candidates must have completed the class 12 exam or an equivalent exam before 2024 or be scheduled to take the class 12 exam in 2024.

Age requirement: In terms of age requirements, candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2024. However, as of December 31, 2024, the maximum age restriction for the Marine Engineering Degree Program is 25 years old.

HOW TO APPLY FOR WBJEE 2024

Step 1: Visit wbjeeb.nic.in, the official website of WBJEEB.

Step 2: Navigate to the “Apply for WBJEE 2024” registration link on the website and click it.

Step 3: Click on New Registration when the new page loads. This will prompt applicants to fill out pertinent information.

Step 4: Click the application link, fill out the form with the requested information, and submit it.

Step 5: Pay the application cost and upload all scanned papers.

Step 6: Fill out the application and store it for later use.

WBJEE 2024: COST OF APPLICATION
Candidates that fit into the general category are required to pay a 500 rupee application fee. However, the registration cost is Rs 400 for individuals who belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories. Nevertheless, a Rs. 300 application fee is required of all female candidates who fall under the SC, ST, OBC-A, OBCB, EWS, TFW, or third-gender categories.
