Results of the UPSC CSE 2023 Exam revealed: 11 girls from Jamia Millia Islamia pass the civil services exam

Today, April 16, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the final Civil Services Examination 2023 results. Animesh Pradhan has the second place, Aditya Srivastava holds the first position, and Donuru Ananya Reddy holds the third position. Thirteen Jamia Millia Islamia applicants this year have been selected to take the UPSC test.

Up to eleven females from Jamia Millia passed the test. Nausheen, a Gorakhpur native, has achieved All India Rank 9. Prerna Singh, Harshita Sharma, Farheen Zahid, Divyanshi Singla, and other female students are among those who passed the test. Out of the 151 candidates that took the written exam from JMI Residential Coaching, 71 candidates showed up for interviews, and 31 candidates were ultimately chosen.

1016 students cleared the test overall, according to UPSC, and they have been recommended for a variety of Central Government posts. To select officers for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS), UPSC administers tests in three parts each year. conducts interviews, major exams, and preliminary exams for the civil services.

In the UPSC CSE 2023 exams, 180 applicants were chosen to join the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). For the Indian Police Service (IPS), 200 individuals were chosen, while 37 candidates were chosen for the Indian Foreign Service (IFS). 613 applicants were chosen for different Grade A positions with the Central Government as a result of these exams. 113 applicants in all have been chosen for the Grade B positions.

Over 2,800 hopefuls showed up for the various phases of interviews, according to UPSC. Following this whole procedure, the names and roll numbers of the applicants who were chosen for the Civil Services have been made public based on their respective ranks. In order to fill 1,105 Group A and Group B positions in IAS, IFS, IPS, and other central services, UPSC held an examination in 2023.
