SSC JE Recruitment 2024: Paper 1 Begins on June 4 and Covers 968 Posts

The Junior Engineer (JE) (civil, mechanical, and electrical) Examination 2024 official announcement and online registration procedure were announced by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Applicants may now register for the SSC JE 2024 recruitment test by going to ssc.nic.in, the organization’s official website. Applications must be submitted by April 18 at 11 p.m. April 19 is the deadline for online fee payments. On April 22 and 23, the application correction window will remain open.

The commission plans to hire 968 junior engineers for positions in mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering across several central government ministries, including MES, BRO, CPWD, NTRO, and others. The first paper test is scheduled for June 4–6. The dates of the paper 2 tests will be released later, and those who pass the paper 1 exam will then need to show up for them. Candidates that are chosen will be paid between Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400.

Recruitment for SSC JE in 2024: How to Apply
Step 1: Go to ssc.nic.in, the SSC’s official website.

Step 2: Search for the “SSC JE Recruitment 2024” link on the site.

Step 3: Fill out the information in the new window to register.

Step 4: Log in one again after completing the registration procedure.

Step 5: After that, complete the application and send in the necessary payment.

Step 6: Upload the relevant files, if any.

Step 7: Verify all the information and send in the SSC JE application as instructed.

2020 SSC JE Hiring: Application Cost
A Rs 100 examination fee is required of applicants for the JE (civil, mechanical, and electrical) test in 2024. On the other hand, applicants who are members of Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), women, and veterans who qualify for reservations are not required to pay the application cost.
