All Ten “Avatars” of the Ram Lalla idol at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya
NEW DELHI: All ten of the “Avatars” are carved on the 51-inch statue of Lord Ram that was dedicated at the Ayodhya temple on Monday during a historic ceremony presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The idol was created by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj using “shyamal,” or black, stone.
The god is portrayed in the Ram Lalla statue as a five-year-old boy standing on a lotus made of the same stone.
The idol is four and a half feet tall and three feet wide, weighing 200 kg. Witnesses observed that the structure’s overall height, measured from the ground, is seven feet because of the lotus and the halo.

The Ram Lalla idol features the following 10 Avatars or incarnations of Lord Vishnu: ➤ Parshuram, Ram, Krishna, Buddha, and Kalki on the right; ➤ Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, and Vaman on the left.

11.51 am – 12:33 pm: Mahurat Abhijit. In the same mahurat, when the Sun is at its strongest, Lord Ram was born.
Mool Mahurat, 12:29:08 p.m. to 12:30:32p.m. the 84-second period during which the PM carried out the principal pran pratishtha rite. The term “establishment of life force,” or “pran pratishtha,” describes how a common idol might be changed into a living, worshipable image of a god. Following this procedure, the idol’s eyes are opened for the first time; up until then, it is blindfolded.

Setting the groundwork for the consecration ceremony on Monday, the statue was put in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya on January 18. The initial image of the idol, hidden behind a veil, was unveiled during the prayer chanting and the sanctum sanctorum placing ritual.
