3 kids killed in fire in Nepal

In Eastern Nepal on Saturday, fire from a neighboring forest destroyed at least three children’s homes and spread to human settlements, according to the police.

While the three, five, and seven-year-old children were playing in their home in Nepal’s Bhojpur district, a neighboring forest caught fire, spreading to the human settlements and completely destroying six dwellings.

“Three children, including a girl child, died when fire from a nearby forest gutted six houses in Nepal’s Bhojpur district,” according to the police. They said that the fire damaged ten cowsheds and six residences in all. “The wind caused the forest fire to spread to the human settlement,” a representative for the government said.
