60 phones and Rs 40,000 are stolen by a gang in Chennai from stores after a section of a wall is destroyed

In the early hours of Thursday, unidentified individuals tore down a partition wall and damaged a section of the wall of a clothes business in Chromepet to gain entry to the neighboring mobile shop. According to the police, the gang took at least 60 phones worth Rs 15 lakh from the next business and Rs 40,000 in cash from the clothes store.

According to a police source, the two adjacent stores on the GST Road at Chromepet Signal along the Chennai-Tiruchy Highway were owned by Ansari and his brother Mansoor of Tambaram. Mansoor is in charge of the clothes and accessory store, while Ansari is in charge of the cell phone store.

A large hole in the wall was discovered by a staff member of the clothes business on Thursday morning when they raised the shutter. The contents, including clothing and accessories, were also scattered. After informing Mansoor, both brothers hurried to the location. A senior police officer said, “After a police investigation, it was discovered that the suspects had broken through part of the building wall and entered the clothes shop.

“After that, they broke through a dividing wall to enter the mobile shop. We believe that the burglary’s mastermind was someone who was familiar with the location. To find the offenders, three specialized teams have been assembled,” he said.
