A camp is held by the Karnal city authority to address property ID concerns

At the Sector 7 Community Center here on Friday, the Karnal Municipal Corporation conducted a camp to address citizens’ issues with property identification. About fifty concerns were immediately rectified by city officials and staff, according to Deputy Municipal Commissioner Ashok Kumar.

In addition to addressing the differences in property identification, the Deputy Municipal Commissioner said that self-certifications of properties were carried out at the camp.

People brought up corrections pertaining to name, plot size, address, phone number, picture, and other details. Zonal Taxation Officer Ankush Parashar and Tax Superintendent Gagandeep Singh handled these concerns after confirming the documentation.

The Deputy Municipal Commissioner said that information regarding posting complaints online via the site was provided to camp attendees.

He claimed that 58,810 complaints were received after the site for raising objections in property IDs became online. Of those, 44,960 complaints had been reviewed by the authorities, and 460 more were scheduled for resolution shortly. The absence of documentation led to the reversal of the remaining allegations.
