A three-booked private school hostel in Bhopal raped an eight-year-old girl; MP CM wants a SIT inquiry

Three people have been charged after an eight-year-old girl was reportedly sexually assaulted in the dorm of a private school in the Madhya Pradesh city of Bhopal, according to a police officer on Wednesday.

The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, has ordered a Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigation.

According to the police, they were attempting to determine the precise time of the occurrence.

“At a private school’s girls’ dormitory, a girl of eight years old is said to have been raped. Manish Raj Bhadoria, the in-charge of the Misrod police station, stated that the police filed a case against three people on Tuesday night under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and Indian Section 376 (rape) of the IPC in response to a complaint.

According to him, even though the accused’s names are stated in the FIR, their identities are still being confirmed.

Regarding the claim that the girl was drugged before to the incident, Bhadoria said that all of these details will become evident when the inquiry was completed.

He stated, “The process of conducting the victim’s medical examination and recording her statement is underway,” and he added that several police teams had been assembled to gather case-related material.

Regarding whether the girl’s rape was verified by the clinical examination, Bhadoria said that a thorough report is still pending.

In response to a question about injuries and swelling discovered in the girl’s private area during a medical examination performed by physicians at the victim’s mother’s request, the police official stated that although the complainant has made this claim, more information will become apparent after a thorough medical examination.

Since the exact date of the occurrence is unknown, Bhadoria said that the hostel’s CCTV video has been located.

“The accused will be arrested once their identity is established,” he said.

According to the Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s office, the CM has ordered a SIT investigation into the situation after taking notice of it.
