A woman perishes as her car is wedged between two speeding trucks close to Chandgiram Akhara in Delhi

On Sunday, a lady lost her life close to Chandgiram Akhara in Delhi when her automobile became wedged between two moving trucks.

According to the police, the accident happened about midnight, and the name of the dead has not yet been discovered.

After learning of the collision, a police squad rushed to the scene.

A 22-year-old lady was driving the automobile that was involved in an accident yesterday night when it became wedged between two speeding trucks close to Chandgiram Akhara in Delhi. An official said that the lady perished in the collision.

As the inquiry is still ongoing, further information is anticipated.

PREVIOUS ACCIDENTS DUE TO SPEED

A speeding vehicle in Kolkata’s Behala earlier in August killed a seven-year-old kid and badly wounded his father.

The child’s skull was crushed when a company vehicle struck the bicycle from the other direction. The event happened on the Diamond Harbour road while the class 2 youngster and his father were riding bikes to school. The father was sent to a neighboring hospital for treatment while the kid passed away there and then.

One Kanwariya died and 12 people were injured when a tractor-trolley was struck by a speeding vehicle in July. Around two in the morning, the event happened near the Dharamshala overbridge. The truck driver was subsequently found having left the scene.

A teenager aged 17 was the dead.One of the wounded was sent to the medical college for treatment, while the others were taken to the district hospital. Injured people were greeted by the District Magistrate and Senior Superintendent of Police who had visited the hospital and medical college.

A speeding vehicle struck spectators in January of this year, killing at least four and wounding five more. On the Kheri-Bahraich route, close to Pangi village, a car drove over a gathering of people who were standing by the side of the road. The wounded were sent urgently to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

In January of this year, a fast-moving truck and a motorbike almost collided fatally, but the motorcycle rider narrowly escaped. In an attempt to avoid a collision, the truck driver and rider both drifted in opposite directions.

One of the main causes of traffic accidents is negligent driving, and speeding only makes the situation worse, increasing the risk of serious injuries and even fatalities.
